At Alma Care, we believe families deserve more support during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. We provide high-touch, evidence-informed care in-home designed to help families feel supported, confident, and cared for during one of life’s most transformative seasons.
Our care model is rooted in compassion, education, and trust. While many of our caregivers are experienced healthcare professionals, Alma Care does not provide medical or clinical treatment services. Instead, we focus on delivering exceptional proactive care, guidance, and family support, across Ontario and BC.
We’re still early in our growth journey, and this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and is energized by balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
The Role
The Director of Care will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, development, support, and performance of Alma Care’s caregiver network.
This role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for ensuring caregivers feel deeply supported, well-equipped, and connected to Alma Care’s standards, values, and approach to family care. The Director of Care will also serve as a key escalation and support partner for complex client situations, helping guide caregivers toward evidence-informed, family-centered solutions.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that blends caregiver experience, education, operational excellence, and care quality. You’ll work closely with our operations and growth teams to deliver exceptional care and experience.
The ideal candidate is equal parts coach, operator, educator, and relationship-builder — someone who can create structure and accountability while fostering warmth, trust, and community.
