Your private suite at Alma Care, located in the Kimpton St. George Hotel, is fully equipped with essentials for both mom and baby. Enjoy postpartum necessities from Frida, skincare products from Three Ships, and baby items such as diapers, wipes, and muslins. Each room includes a bassinet, nursing pillow, baby lounger, and mini fridge. Access top-of-the-line equipment, including the hospital-grade Symphony Medela Breast Pump.
Nursery & Parent’s Lounge
Alma offers a supervised Nursery with sleep-safe bassinets and care staff with a 1-1 ratio of baby to Care Team Member, ensuring peace of mind while we care for your baby. Our Care Team is available daily for questions and support.

Nourishment
Our team of expert postnatal nutritionists has crafted a menu optimized for your recovery. Enjoy three daily meals, snacks from Aiyana and Farm Boy, specially formulated teas, and broths and juices from Greenhouse. Drawing on Asian influences, our menu supports internal recovery and milk production. The Parent’s Lounge is always stocked to keep you satiated and hydrated throughout your stay at Alma.

Every mom and baby are different. We take the time to understand your postpartum expectations and concerns, tailoring your experience throughout.
3rd Trimester Prep Session
As your delivery date nears, we address any concerns and ensure you're prepared for your stay at Alma. Additionally, enjoy a 30-minute birth doula consultation for added support.
Pre Check-In
Let us know when you're heading to the hospital and provide updates on your expected check-in time. We understand due dates are unpredictable, but any information on your arrival is greatly appreciated.
Arrival
Arrive whenever you feel comfortable—straight from the hospital or after a few days at home. We'll work with you to determine the best time. The Alma Care experience is most beneficial in the first 4 months postpartum.
What services are included in the Alma Care experience?
Alma Care provides luxury accommodations for the new family, allowing them to rest, recover, learn, and enjoy themselves. Services include 24/7 care for the mother & baby, nutritious meals & snacks, lactation support, and parent workshops.
Do I have to come directly from the hospital? How long after can I come?
We offer hospital transfers from all Toronto hospitals, but you do not need to come directly. We encourage you to visit our retreat as early after giving birth as you’re comfortable with. We accept families up to 4 months postnatal.
How long should I stay?
Our goal is to ease the anxieties of this beautiful yet stressful time. We encourage you to book a consultation with our Care Team to curate an experience that best supports your family's needs.
Alma also offers a signature traditional confinement program, where guests stay for 30 days and follow a structured 4-week recovery plan.
Can I stay with you before birth?
Yes, we offer pre-birth stays to help you prepare for your delivery. This is also an excellent option for out-of-town parents.
Can my partner stay with me?
Of course! Our packages include accommodation for a partner (or support person). While partner’s meals are not included in the package rates, they can be added for $100/day.
